그녀는 상상할 만한 어려운 시기를 겪었어요

그녀는 눈은 눈물과 실랑이를 벌였지요(눈물을 흘렸지요)

그녀의 젊은 세상은 막 무너져 내리려고 할 때

그녀의 가날픈 어깨는 공포의 짐을 져야했어요

그리고 아무도 듣지 못하는 슬픔이

아직도 한밤의 고요속에 울리고 있어요

그년 숙녀니깐 울도록 내버려두세요

그년 아직 어리니깐 꿈을 꾸도록 내버려두세요

그녀가 비를 맞도록 그냥 두세요

그년 자유롭고 부드러운 꽃이니깐,거칠게 자라나는...

그라고 혹시라도

내가 그녀를 안을 수 있다면

한참동안 안을 수 있게 해주세요

만약 오직 한가지만 소유할 수 있다면

난 정원에서 그녀를 선택해서 내것으로 만들거예요요

그녀에게 깨어날지 모르니깐 그녀를 만질땐 조심하세요

그녀가 아는 자유는 오직 잠자는 것 뿐이니까

그리고 그녀의 눈속을 바라볼 때 그녀가 나타내는 반응을 믿지 못할 거야

그녀가 항상 대가를 지불하는식으로 남에게 빚진게 전혀 없기에...

그리고 오직 그녀가 들을 수 있는  침묵의 바람이 불고 있어요

그녀는 그렇게 살아간답니다

The way she's always paying for a debt she never owed

That only she can hear, and so she goes
